It has always intrigued me how a person’s mannerisms can change so dramatically when confronted with the presence of a camera and the permanence of a photograph. By remaining unobtrusive, and letting events occur as they would naturally, the photograph has a way of allowing one’s inner feelings and emotions to be exposed that might otherwise be left undiscovered. My enthusiasm for photography is fueled by the opportunity to encounter and introduce those feelings to others. Children are my greatest inspiration... their joy and enthusiasm for discovery, capturing the eyes of a child as they discover this vast world around them. Having three little girls of my own, taking pictures of their lives has inspired me to branch out into the world of photography. Photography is a passion and growing up with a photographer as a father, it’s in my genes! I was born in Anaheim, CA. where I spent a good portion of my childhood. Life has taken me to the Colorado Rockies, Beautiful Vermont and now Boise, Idaho where I now live with my husband and three daughters.
